The Public Health Department in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and CHAI, hosted a 2-day Training of Trainers on Sickle Cell Disease Diagnosis and Management for selected healthcare workers in the FCT at Stratton Hotel, Asokoro, Abuja.
The goal: strengthen early screening, diagnosis, and care for newborns and kids with SCD, aligning with Nigeria’s Universal Newborn Screening Policy.
