ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that standards are not compromised through regular supervision of all regulated premises in accordance with the laws
  • Promote and maintain the highest degree of physical, mental and social wellbeing of workers in all occupations
  • Protect workers from risks and hazards that adversely affect their Health
  • Ensure that FCT residents imbibe the culture of health enhancing lifestyle through Health Promotion/Education and sensitization of FCT residents
  • Regular screening and Certification of food vendors/handlers in hospitality industries and other food establishments
