TRAINING ON PROTOCOLS FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF UNCOMPLICATED HYPERTENSION

The NCD Program, FCT, successfully conducted a Training on Protocols for the Management of Uncomplicated Hypertension for health care workers across the Territory. The training brought together participants from primary, secondary, and private health facilities to strengthen capacity for standardized hypertension care.

During the training, participants were equipped with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills on accurate diagnosis, effective treatment protocols, patient counseling, and improved data management using revised tools. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of care and ensure better health outcomes for individuals living with hypertension.

The successful completion of this training marks a significant milestone in the fight against non-communicable diseases in the FCT, as health care workers are now better positioned to implement national guidelines and deliver quality services at all levels of care.

The NCD Program appreciates the support of all stakeholders, facilitators, and participants who contributed to the success of the training.
